4:30-5:15 Fairytale Ballet

5:15-6:00 Ballet I/II ages 6-8

6:00-6:45 Jazz class ages 6 and older*

6:45-7:30 Tap class ages 6 and older*  

7:30-8:15 Ballet II/III ages 9 and older

Class Descriptions

 

Fairytale Ballet with tap  
Ages 3-5 year old. Pre-Kindergarten-Kindergarten .  Basic ballet steps, creative movement and basic tap steps.

Required: Pink tights, any color leotard of any style, pink ballet shoes(no slippers)black tap shoes and hair pulled up out of face.

​Ballet 

Ages 6-9.Ballet I/II Basic ballet technique and introduction to the ballet barre and center floor work.

Ages 9 and older Ballet II/III Intermediate ballet technique, ballet barre and center floor work.

Required: Pink tights, any color leotard of any style, pink ballet shoes(no slippers) hair pulled out of face. Ballet skirts are also permitted.

Jazz Class

Ages 6 and older. Basic jazz  steps according to syllabus designed by Jessica Palmer. 

Required: Tan or black tights and choice any color leotard. May also wear any style of dance pants/dance shorts, black jazz shoes  with hair pulled out of face.

Tap Class

Ages 6 and older. Basic tap steps according to syllabus designed by Jessica Palmer. 

Required: Tan or black tights and choice any color leotard. May also wear any style of dance pants/dance shorts, black jazz shoes  with hair pulled out of face.

DRESSCODE will be strictly enforced! All dancers MUST have proper attire by start of classes.

 

You will be able to purchase all of your shoes, leotards, tights, dance bags and all of the other accessories needed for the year at our Open House!

Classes are first-come, first served. Once classes reach full capacity, they will be closed. Should this occur, a waiting list will be started for that class.

Class times are subject to change due to enrollment.

Jessica's School of Dance has the right to terminate a class if there are less than 4 students registered.

​

October 1, 2025 is the final drop-out date for session 1. You will need to submit a written letter for our records. If you remain in classes after this day you are considered committed to the dance season. If you no longer attend after this date and have not informed us prior to drop out dates, you will be responsible for tuition for the remainder of the dance session. All fees are non-refundable.

​

We will have an informal Winter Exhibition in December. Costumes will not be purchased for this Exhibition. Specific colored leotards and shoes will be worn for this performance. The performance will be held at the Oglethorpe County High School. Date and times TBD

 

We will have our annual Spring Showcase in May. Costumes will be purchased for this performance as this will be our big Showcase. The performance will be held at the Oglethorpe County High School, Dates and time TBD
