JSDance Company

What is JSDance Company?

JSDance Company is for the dancer who wants to take dance to the next level. It will require time and dedication. It is a lot of fun but is for those who are more serious about dance.

Each company member will be REQUIRED to take their leveled ballet class on Mondays along with REQUIRED company classes on Thursdays. Dancers are also able to take the tap/jazz combo class as well, but not required.

 

What does JSDance Company do?

JSDance Company will compete at Access Broadway in Feb/March 2024(dates TBD) This is our REQUIRED competition. We will attend all 3 days of the competition. We also attend Open Call dance competition April 2024 here in Athens. This is an optional competition. We will perform at the Oglethorpe County Primary School and the Oglethorpe County Elementary School. We will also have additional opportunities to perform at Oglethorpe County Rec Department. We will have a mock dance competition during our Winter Exhibition in December!

 

How do I become a JSDance Company member?

You will need to register at our May 8, 2023 meeting. Placement contracts will be emailed on May 10, 2023. All contracts will need to be signed and returned by May 20 along with your payment selection. Each contract will come with your choice of specific dates fees are due or a special payment plan according to your dancer.

Junior Company and Apprentice Company will be required their leveled company competition dance and the entire Company group dance.

Fees

JSDance Company Registration fee $40 due May 20, 2023 with signed contract

JSDance Company Swag fee $70 due July 10, 2023

*Optional Mom Swag fee $50 due July 10, 2023

Leveled group dance costume $85.00 due October 10, 2023

Access Broadway entry fee $55 due December 10, 2023

Monthly company tuition fee $35 due the 10th of each month starting in August

Large group dance costume fee $85 due July 10, 203

Access Broadway entry fee $55 due December 10, 2023

*If choosing a payment plan, there will be a set monthly fee for your dancer according to contract

What is JSDance Mini Company

JSDance Mini Company is for the dancer who wants to take dance up a little level. It will require a little extra time and practice.

Each Mini company member will take Fairytale ballet class on Mondays along with REQUIRED company class on Thursdays.

What does JSDance Mini Company do?
